MONOBLOCks
Inside manoeuvre reinforced concrete compact Monoblocs (MCBA)
Main advantages:
The reduced overall dimension architecture is easily integrable in every place. The advantage is that the operator of the electromechanical equipment Works inside the monobloc protected from any kind of weather. The standard colour RAL 7035 is sanded. There are other versions for the client to choose including the so-called KATROL or another kind of coverage.
It is relatively easy to install, not requiring the existence of a concrete platform. It is placed in an open gap directly into the ground where it is going to be installed. It has got a technical basis for the passage of cables with pre-labelled cavities placed in strategic locations in order to introduce cable input/output pipes.
MCBA has got a high longevity with low maintenance costs.
There are the following possible configurations till 36 KV in one, two or three transformers:
-distribution monoblocs (PTD) approved by EDP D;
-distribution monoblocs (PTD) associated private service monoblocs (PTC);
-switching stations monoblocs (PS);
-switching and countig stations monoblocs (PSC) and private transformer stations (PTC);
-private transformer station monoblocs;
-suitable monoblocs for photovoltaic plants transformer station with inverters inside if needed.
These monoblocs can be provided equipped or empty. For each situation MATELFE presents the project in autocad for the approval by the delegate appointed by the developer.
Electromechanical equipment to install inside the monoblocs:
-MT compact or modular boards in SF6 till 36 KV approved by DGE and EDP D;
-Oil or dry transformers till 36 KV and 1600 KVA. For higher power they will have to be examined case by case;
-Standard QGBT´s DMA from EDP D (PTD) or closed to costumer QGBT´s (PTC).
Monoblocs mechanical and construction features:
MCBA´s usually consist of the following reinforced concrete pieces: technological basis and respective sidewalls cast in one piece, coverage, gap coverage slab, separating walls between the QMT area and QGBT and transformers. Other needed configurations may be studied and implemented according to costumers needs.
MCBAs have got a 300 Kg/cm2 resistor, galvanized steel sawmills painted in the client desired colour. The standard colour is RAL 7035. The metalworks may be provided in painted stainless steel (quality to be determined by the costumer). The metalworks may be painted with special anticorrosion ink, as well.
Under the MCBA’s approval by EDP D they have been tested by Portugal LNEC in what concerns behaviour towards severe earthquake being approved with no restrictions for all the country.

Metal exterior manoeuvre Sandwich panel compact Monoblocs (MCPS)
Main advantages:
The reduced overall dimension architecture and low weight is easily integrated in every place. It is easy to load, transport and unload to the target site. The standard colour is RAL 9006. There are other versions for the client to choose.
It is relatively easy to install, not requiring the existence of a concrete platform. If the client wishes it can be placed in an open gap directly into the ground where it installed. It has got a technical basis for the passage of cables with pre-labelled cavities placed in strategic locations in order to introduce cable input/output pipes.
If the client decides to apply the MCPS in a concrete platform built in the site with design provided by us, the electro mechanic equipment will be fully assembled and fixed in the monobloc metal structure.
The ventilation is ensured by grids disposed in MCPS several doors, the thermal and acoustic insulation is ensured by the use of sandwich panels which coat the sidewalls and ceiling.

MCPS´s have got hot-dip galvanized steel sawmills (doors and vents) painted in the client desired colour. The standard colour is RAL 9006. The metalworks may be provided in painted stainless steel (quality to be determined by the costumer). The metalwork may be painted with special anticorrosion ink, as well.
